Let JNS Towers manage your existing structure(s) to allow for co-location of wireless antennas. Before developing a new tower, your municipality should ensure that all existing structures are evaluated as possible locations for antennas. JNS Towers can help you evaluate each property to determine the feasibility of the location. Assuming an existing structure works, JNS will then market the property directly to the wireless service providers. JNS can help you determine where the antennas should be mounted and how much rent you should charge.

Water Tanks

Most municipalities own and operate a water tank as part of the community’s long term infrastructure. We realize how important the tank is and are sensitive to what construction work can take place at the facility. Having managed newly built tanks and older tanks, JNS understands how antennas must be mounted in order to eliminate any issues relative to warranties, maintenance, worker safety and water quality.

Rooftops

There is more than meets the eye then just the view from the roof. JNS understands how to maximize the space on the roof to allow for use by multiple wireless providers. The most common mistake a municipality makes is allowing one service provider to install antennas in a way that prevents other service providers from using the rooftop. Antenna design and placement, equipment room design, emergency power requirements and access are all critical elements to insure the rooftop is properly utilized.

Existing Towers

Have you lost control of your existing tower? Maybe it was built 20 years ago and records cannot be found or maybe the tenants have stopped paying rent or their leases have expired. JNS can help you regain control of the facility and bring it back into compliance. It is very common for wireless providers to try and renegotiate a lease after you have them as a tenant. They also may want to change out their antennas and add new equipment, so who is representing your municipality in these situations?
